Trouble at the Tangerine

Trouble at the Tangerine.JPG

Note from Gillian:

On the first day Simon moves to the Tangerine Pines apartment building, a priceless ruby necklace is stolen. Can Simon, with the help of new friend Amaya, crack the case?

I've always loved mysteries--especially when I can try to solve the case right along with the main character! I wrote this book because I wanted to capture a fun, thrilling mystery set in a bustling apartment community with lots of quirky neighbors.

A Great Fit for:

  • Readers who like to hunt for clues

  • Readers who love quirky people and animals

  • Readers who like to read about characters finding "home"

  • Parent/kid discussion: Who do you think stole the necklace and why? How would you investigate? Why does Simon want to solve the case?
